  • Activities which you can to there
  • Local food
  • Different types of accommodation
  • The distance to your holiday destination from Bicester
  • 3 different types of transport to get to there

Include the details, prices, maps and pictures in your PowerPoint presentation.

Be prepared to present your work to the class next lesson.

Holiday Project 3

Transport
Today you are going to research how to get to your holiday destination.
  • Research at least 3 different types of transport (plane, train, ferry, car, coach, bus, ...) which you can use to get to your holiday destination.
  • Write down the distance in miles and kilometres
  • Work out the total costs of the journey and compare different prices for first / business class and economy class.
  • Compare the prices of different plane / train / ferry companies.

  • In French list their facilities

    • ...
  • Say how much they are per night
    • single room, double room, luxurious suite
    • caravan, tent
    • ...
  • Say if you would like to stay there and why / why not

  3. Choose 2 tasks of the writing test and post your answers on the blog.
    The first task should be the your current writing level, the second task should be the next higher level.
    E.g. If you are working on level 5 you should complete the level 5 and level 6 task.
